Born in Paris, a pupil of the animal sculptor Édouard Navellier (1865-1944), he exhibited at the Salon d'automne and the Salon des artistes français, where he received an honourable mention in 1926 and a bronze medal in 1930.
He was also a member of the Société des peintres animaliers and was awarded a silver medal at the 1937 Exposition des Arts Techniques.
